About Me

The full story

Today I'm a Product Designer at Deno, where I've designed Deno Deploy, Deno Sandbox, and JSR, the JavaScript Registry. I like building developer platforms for developers to build platforms.

Before Deno, I was a Product Design Manager at Cloudflare where I managed the design teams building Cloudflare Workers and other developer-oriented products, along with new emerging technology.

Earlier in my career, I was a UX Design Lead at 18F where I designed and built open-source software for the federal government. I led design on login.gov and worked on the U.S. Web Design System and eRegulations, among other things.

Before that, I was the Director of User Experience at Edmodo. I managed a design team as we grew from 15 million to over 41 million teachers and students using the platform. I've also worked with the folks at Analyte Health and helped start YouEye in an effort to bring high-value user research technologies to the web.

I helped teach some kids how to code at CoderDojo SF when I lived in San Francisco. We released some open-source lesson plans along the way.

Once upon a time, I attended school at DePaul University and studied Network Technology. If you ever need a Cisco router configured, well, I'm probably not your guy.
